Currently, you’ll only find Mercadonas in Northern Portugal, but it’s likely that it’ll spread further south as time goes on. Aldi operates smaller stores than some current UK supermarket chains, although these tend to be bigger than a typical Sainsbury’s Local or Tesco Express.
